Airline reward programs

For those that like to travel, credit cards with airline reward programs can be a good investment. Providing frequent flyer points often rather than reward points, airline reward programs can result in substantial savings for people who must frequently travel.
Some reward programs even include free travel insurance for the cardholder, which can occasionally extend to family members as well. This is more common in gold credit cards or platinum credit cards rather than credit cards that purely have airline reward programs. Such credit cards can still often have a good exchange rate for reward points traded for frequent flyer points, but they may be less focused on cheap travel rewards.
